I haven't seen it for myself, but I have heard that FiOS subscribers, recently acquired by Frontier, might experience DNS issues because they no longer have access to Verizon's DNS servers. I have the same setup as you: Verizon LTE internet using ASK-NCQ1388, have a router in the DMZ of the Verizon box and using the CloudFlare DNS of 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. Although I don't have daily issue, I would say that the DNS still drops causing connection issues about once a week. If I reboot the Verizon box and my router, the issue goes away.
