I'm hoping that it's shipped back soon and that they fixed the problem.One potentially useful thing about the Security-380 (if you're a reloader) is that the mag well will also accept Security-9 mags. There's published reloading data available for .380 using 115 gr (& heavier) bullets, but overall cartridge length is limited to 0.984" - seat bullets out much longer than that, and the rounds will bind in the magazine.security 9 cheap safe pistol.When I say safe I mean that's where it should stay in a safe.I.ve read several writings on different forums.Praise the pistol because it is under $300,take it out of box wow it shoots.BUT I have not met ONE person ,Live that likes the pistol.Less than 600 rounds out of pistol and it quit working.Three different stores …My Security 9 has had four FTEs across approximately 310 rounds since new. The first two were classic stovepipes and easily cleared. The last two were very odd in that the spent casing stayed in the barrel’s chamber requiring me to use a small wooden dowel to pry the casing out; not good for a home defense/carry gun!

Feb 15, 2019 · Hi all, New to this forum but hope I can get some feedback on a problem I'm having with my Security 9. Got this about 4 months ago and I really like the pistol. Probably put about 900 rounds thru it so far. Last time I was at the range everytime I inserted a full mag the slide went forward and the gun went into battery. security 9 accuracy. 3 of us tested my grandsons Security 9 a while back. I did the worst as it has a different trigger pull than my P85 and P90. Grandson did a little better. Really the only 9mm he has ever shot. Son did good with it. 3 different shooters with 3 different results.

Sep 23, 2020 · This pic may shed some light on the Security 9 feed problems. Below are my (3) 9mm barrels all Rugers. On the left, my good old P-85, ctr my new Security 9, rt almost new EC9s. My wife says she don't see it, but IMO, the loading ramp on in the center is tapered (narrow on the bottom + wider at top. This is the Security 9 with the feed problems.
